Car description |
---|
1968 Ford Econoline Club Wagon van.
Van has clean NH title. It is completely rust free with original paint, except for minor rust on hood (hood has 1 repaint). 6 cylinder, 3-speed manual (3 on the tree). Has 50,000 original miles. Only thing that doesn't work is the horn, and the gas gauge is sticky.
Tracked the van down to a Ford dealership in New York. Private collection, then was sold to someone in Pennsylvania (have copy of previous Pennsylvania title). Van has been fully serviced - oil change, new battery, etc. New water pump. 4 brand new radial tires with brand new 16 inch rims.and caps Van retains its original bias ply spare tire. Has rare factory option - when you open the passenger side door, a running board comes out to step into van. Body and undercarriage spotless.
Van needs some weatherstripping around side and back windows. However, windows DO NOT leak. Windshield weatherstripping is brand new. All chrome is in nice shape (grill no dings, no dents). Bumper is nice.
Interior driver's seat has a little rip. Dashboard has been reupholstered. Top of engine cover reupholstered. Brand new headliner, but interior lights are not cut out. Small hole where interior light is. Original seats in back are long gone. All interior panels are nice - scratch and rip-free. This was never a work truck. Armrests are a little ratty (have two new old stock arm rests which will come with the van.)
Would not hesitate to drive this van anywhere. You will not be disappointed. Pictures do not do van justice. You will be hard pressed to find a rust free van with original paint. Perfect for Ford collector.
Any questions call Paul 603-772-6353.
