1966 Ford
Galaxie 500 Convertible

Start cruising the town in this classic convertible. This classic Ford ragtop is appealing & desirable. Typical of the 1960's auto market, this is a car that will get you there in comfort & style.

This cruiser is powered by Ford's popular 289 cubic inch small block which has a 2 barrel carburetor & dual exhaust. The engine starts right up & purrs with that familiar sound of an American V8 engine. Black paint & black interior are original to this vehicle. The top is not original. This car is 53 years old. As shown in the photos this vehicle is in good shape, but it does have issues that need to be mentioned. There are minor scuffs, scratches, dents, & dings. The chrome and moldings are in good condition.There is some rust in different areas shown in the photos. The undercarriage has some rust but it is solid. There is a spot behind the rear wheel that has gone through the metal which is shown in a photo. The tires have good tread. The wipers work. The radio works. The top opens & closes smooth & quiet. The clock doesn't work. All the lights work with the exception of the emergency flasher unit. There is some leakage from the transmission & radiator. The speedometer works but not the odometer. The odometer reads 89100. The actual miles on this vehicle is undetermined. These issues do not detract from the overall appeal of this classic convertible. This is an original car with the original owners manual in the glove box. There have been no modifications except for the top. With convertible top down weather upon us, this is the car to have.
