Here's a chance to own a real time capsule... The closest thing to buying a brand new 1978 Mustang II in 2019.1978 2+2, 4 cylinder, 4 speed car. This car has 9700 original miles. That's not a typo. Probably one of the lowest mileage IIs out there. The car was purchased new in 77, driven until 82, and then parked in the garage until the owner passed away two years ago. Still has the 1982 Florida registration and inspection sticker on it.
The car in excellent shape.Has a few blemishes on the body, but nothing major. I can provide additional pictures for a serious buyer. Runs and drives like new. Any parts that needed attention from 40 years of sitting, were taken care of. Fuel tank cleaned, new fuel pump, carb rebuilt. Alternator was not charging, and has been rebuilt and restored exactly like it originally was. Original tires replaced with new (yes, it still had the original tires on it!). The aluminum dash inserts were tarnished and have been replaced with exact reproduction inserts. The wiper switch arm and heater knobs were tarnished, and have been replaced with NOS replacement parts. The car is otherwise completely original.
I also have a set of nice original 13" Mustang II aluminum slot rims with new tires on them, that I can include with the car for an extra $200.
