Car description |

I bought this 1978 Ford Mustang II Ghia in January with the intent of restoring to daily driver condition then swapping the motor for a 350. It's my first foray into restoration and the car was nearly running with minimal surface-only rust so it made sense.
One new baby boy and a new job across the country later, I've decided to sell it and wait until things are a little less chaotic to continue my hobby. So far I have: replaced the carburetor, spark plugs and wires, battery, and oil. The car runs pretty well now and does drive. The carburetor clearly needs someone more talented to tune it however, as it only runs really nice with a pretty rich fuel mix.
Also included in the sale but not installed yet: new white wall original style tires, a new spare tire, new brake drums and rotors, new brake pads, new shocks, new high beam floor switch, barely used car cover and bungie cords. It's also worth noting that the radiator and coolant are nearly brand new from the previous owner. The car has been protected in my driveway under cover, and prior to that, in a garage since 198X. Not only does it run and drive, but shifts just fine. Even the original radio works.
With the original purchase and parts, I've put around $4,000 into the car. All 61,379 miles are original.
I'm sad to see it go, but it just won't get the attention it deserves from me. I will work with your shipping company or allow local pickup. Please contact me with any questions!
