1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport GT (Sportroof / Fastback) the car was restored about 5 years ago and looks really nice. The Gran Torino is powered by it's original #'s matching 351 2V motor (stock) backed by a C6 automatic 3 speed transmission and 9" rear with posi-trac. The car came with factory power steering. power disc brakes and air conditioning. The floorboards. trunk pan. rocker panels. torque boxes. fenders. quarter panels. doors. have virtually no rust and is all the factory original sheet metal. You will be hard pressed to find a more solid. rust free 1972 Gran Torino anywhere. believe me I've looked! When the car was restored. it was repainted with new side stripe graphics installed. new interior carpet. new headliner. dash pad redone. new front & rear seat upholstery. new cd player stereo. etc. I have also added new 18" wheels (18x8's and 18x10's) and four new tires (less than 200 miles on tires). The car also has new exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and new polyurethane sway bar bushings bushings. Car will eventually need new weatherstripping as the originals are becoming dry-rotted and the A/C compressor needs to be re-installed as it is currently off the car (but comes with the sale of the car). This is a rare Gran Torino Sportroof as the 1972's were a one year only body style and the most desirable of the 2nd generations. These cars became substantially more sought after once Hollywood showcased the car in the Clint Eastwood film "Gran Torino" which used a 1972 Sportroof car. Also. the villains green chase car in the Fast & Furious movie franchise was also a 1972 Gran Torino sportroof. I am not anxious or desperate to sell this car. I simply do not have time for it so I'm letting her go. PLEASE NO TRADE OR LOW BALL OFFERS!! Terms: Please do not bid if you do not have the funds to complete the transaction.
