Car description

It features all those striking vintage styling cues that made its model so sought-after decades ago, while boasting a few aftermarket add-ons to up its outstanding curb appeal even further. This 1970 Ford Mustang Restomod shows what the essence of restomodding is all about - it offers both a great driving experience and a supremely comfortable, well-appointed interior. As the '60s gave way to the next decade, Ford began adding some high impact style to their prized model and this specimen wears it proudly. Its red paint is in very strong condition, offering a smooth texture and a strong shine from all sides and the added black decals on the hood and across the sides offer a nice dimension while showing a crisp, clean condition. Both the black front air dam, hood scoop and rear spoiler are respectful nods to the Boss 302s of the era and look great on board here, as do the custom hood locks. The glass on all sides of the cabin is in great condition and is surrounded by clean looking trim, and neither the front nor rear bumpers show any evidence of unintended contact. This classic Mustang will turn heads with frequency for sure. Peer through the window and into the cabin, and your eyes will be drawn to the pair of black leather bucket seats out of a 2017 Mustang. Not only are they ergonomically refined for plenty of support around corners, but they're also capable of heating up and cooling down as you see fit. Lower yourself into the driver's seat and you'll feel locked into place - a great sensation, as these seats are also supremely comfortable. There are plenty of other great touches inside as well. The door panels to each side sport sharp-looking stainless steel inserts, the leather center console fits like a glove and a Vintage Air climate control system has been added to keep you and your passengers nice and comfortable. The dash has the fresh appearance that suggests it's been replaced entirely and the gauges inside its instrument cluster feature new overlays to update their look. Audio capabilities come via a Pioneer AM/FM stereo that also carries an auxiliary port to connect an additional sound source of your choosing. Beneath the hood, the engine compartment is very well-detailed - the matching red of its firewall, inner fenders and export braces creates a striking appearance. The 351 Windsor V8 sitting at its center is as fresh as can be - it's only logged about 250 miles, so you'll have the distinct pleasure of completing its break in and experiencing this revered powerplant at its absolute best. With a 4-barrel Holley carb on top, it's dressed up with a chrome air cleaner and valve covers and sends a great, deep note out of its Flowmaster mufflers. It's backed up by a 5-speed manual Tremec transmission that's shifting with precision, so this classic is equally adept at stepping out off the line as it is cruising comfortably at highway speeds. An aluminum radiator stands by up front to keep operating temperatures in check, while the added HEI ignition maximizes available spark. With a Flaming River rack and pinion system added to the mix, this Mustang offers precise, slop-free power steering that would be well out of reach in its original configuration, while power brakes that position discs up front bring fade-resistant dependable stops. This skillfully modded Mustang cruises on a set of 17" ultra-sharp wheels wrapped with fresh Westlake SA-07 tires. It's a great representation of vintage style and its well-chosen array of features makes this 1970 Ford Mustang Restomod a pleasure to drive. Call today!
