This was retired from FHP service in 1996(I have the auction papers) was driven than stored.It has the original 5.0 engine and the 5 speed Manual transmission.The original FHP decals are still on the car and the paint is all original with factory VIN tags on every panel.Even the factory black tape stripe that covers the overlap between the two colors is still there.No rust,naturally,since the car was in Florida.The original wheels are indeed silver on 1991's and this car is 100% correct in that regard.The tires are like new Goodyear's Assurance in proper 215/65/15 sizing as per FHP requirements.Suspension has been upgraded with Koni struts and shocks for tighter handling with Kenny Brown subframe connectors added.Everything else is original as Ford installed it including the original oil cooler system,silicone cooling system hoses and high output alternator.AC has been properly converted to R134a and it's ice cold.It has been upgraded with components such as Morisot Cold Air Kit,Ford Motorsport stainless steel direct fit headers and a full Dynomax exhaust with stainless steel tailpipes (impossible to find today).The interior has been restored with new seat upholstery,the seat backs were repaired and new carpeting was installed.Vehicle has been meticulously maintained and can be driven anywhere.As for the police equipment,the factory calibrated speedometer is still there,and on top it has the highly desirable and correct Jetsonic chain-driven JS1 lightbar which works perfectly.Not correct for FHP is a newer Code 3 Siren with PA,electric Wig Wig headlight module and functional MPH industries K55 radar system.All the equipment works and is great for shows.This car was the feature car in the August 2018 edition of Muscle Mustsng and Fast Fords Magazine.The equipment will be disconnected and all police markings will be covered with custom fit magnetic sheeting provided by the seller at time of sale.WILL ACCEPT TRADES.
