Car description |
---|
This is an amazing original paint car, ask your car friends, they will tell you thats good. Great old Minnisota hot rod, with no rust at all and only a little pitting in the driver side floor board. Paint is lacquer checked and I tried to give a good representation in the photos. This is such a cool car, and if you don't get that, please don't bid.
Front to back: Aluminum Radiator, 350ci Chevrolet V8 4bbl (castings put it as a mid 70s motor), 39 3-speed transmission, closed driveline (torque tube), original banjo rear end. Front has been dropped with reverse eyelet spring with 2 leafs removed. Steering dampener on the front and sway bar on the back. Disc brakes in front, stops good. The wiring is a thing of beauty and the builder must have spent days laying it out. Headlights are still operated from the banjo steering wheel, which is in excellent shape. Car has a perfect intact headliner, and carpet and has a two tone black and white vinyl interior, with basket weave black vinyl, the old school way. no rips or tears, but it shows its age, as it should.
What else to tell, doesn't smoke, shifts well (tranny rebuilt 150 miles ago) stops well, and just drives the way you want it to.
Bid with confidence and feel free to text or email with questions.
