Hello. Up for auction today is a 1969 Ford E200 Club Wagon Chateau. It is equipped with a 300 inline 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. I have owned this van since 1991 and used it for a work truck for many years. Being a car collector I decided to retire it from that use a few years ago. This is the first car I have ever owned but sentimental value aside I've got too many cars and regretfully decided this one could use a new home. The engine is a 300 6 cylinder and was completely overhauled in 1996. Ive put about 70000 miles on it since then. It runs well smooth and has a ford 1970's style electronic ignition. The trans is a 3 speed manual. The clutch dose have some chatter but is good on lockup. It has manual steering, manual brakes and it originally had dual heat and a/c but are no longer present. The steering box is worn and dose have some play but the alignment tracking is good. about a year ago I serviced the brakes and replaced all the hydraluics including the rubber brake hoses, wheel cylinders and the master cylinder. I also put 2 new bearings in the rear axle and new seals. The drums were in decent shape. The tires are warn and should be replaced but are still safe as far as the treadwear is concerned. The body is showing some rust but panels can be bought. The frame and underside are very decent. I repaired the common area around the steering box years ago with heavy plate that is in excelent shape. Iam also including a large collection of parts that came from a 1974 including trim, glas, Interior parts, 2 front doors, and 2 back doors. There are also parts to convert it to power brake and steering. plus some small items too much to list. This stuff will all fit in the van. Definitely is a good candidate for restoration by someone who has the ambition. PLEASE NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. BY PLACING A BID YOU AGREE TO PAY FOR THIS AUCTION IF YOU ARE THE HIGHEST BIDDER. BUYERS WITH NEGATIVE PAYMENT FEEDBACK WILL BE REJECTED. THANKS.
