1950 Ford Club Coupe. Came from a large estate collection. Car underwent a total restoration in the 2000s. Original Flathead V8 engine was rebuilt with a mild cam, new pistons, valves, hardened valve seats, steel crank, etc. New exhaust with Fenton headers. New clutch and brakes including the shoes, lines, and master cylinder. Rebuilt steering and suspension. New wheels and radial tires. Interior was redone in tweed. Many accessories such as fog lights and backup lights were added. Even has a "Wolf Whistle". Car has a 3-on-the-tree transmission with Overdrive that works great. Real smooth. 4bbl carburetor was just recently rebuilt with a new fuel pump. Paint is about a 9.5 out of 10.
Only blemishes are two small dings in the paint and the drivers side window is scratched. Also, the tires are oversized which caused the speedo to be off and a tire rub on the rear passenger tire. This might can be fixed with some type of pan-hard bar or new tires. There is also a vibration in the rear end at higher speeds. It feels like the driveshaft needs balancing. Lastly, some of the gauges don't work. The car comes with historical documentation of what was done during the restoration. This car is rust free and truly beautiful inside and out. It will be hard to find one nicer to take to the next level.
