1970 Ford Maverick Base 3.3L

I have listed again a nearly mint condition 1970 Ford Maverick 2 owner car. I purchased this Maverick from the original owner early in 2011. The car was in exceptional condition other than the paint and chrome was tired. This car had spent its entire life in a controlled garaged environment. It spent the majority of 2011 and the spring of 2012 at the local body shop where it underwent a cosmetic restoration. Starting with a complete fender and front end removal all body work was sanded primed and repainted the factory original color. No rust was found in any panels all dings from over the years were painstakingly sanded out. Bumpers were removed and sent off to be rechromed along with the rocker panel moldings. NOS tail lamp covers and a NOS front grille were also added. Interior is nearly mint carpet. headliner. seats. door panels all show minimal wear for a car of this age. Dash cap was installed to cover one small crack in pad. All doors. hood and trunk fit properly and close precisely. Only modifications car has had is the addition of a temp and oil pressure gauge and a FM converter otherwise its bone stock. Comes equipped with the larger 200 CID inline six and a C4 3speed automatic. power steering finishes out the power options. Car was undercoated when new underside is clean no crusty or flaking metal many of the original factory markings are still visible. Engine runs great performs and starts as a 35k mile car should carb has been rebuilt. recent new water pump. belts. hoses. fluids. nbsp;front to rear. NOS muffler added in 2013. New Cooper tires were also installed in 2012. Brakes all work fine with plenty of meat left on the shoes. No leaks or drips. This car is the deluxe version for 70 has the upgraded interior in nugget stripe along with the exterior accent group and trim. Car is fully documented along with original build sheet. copy of original title and original owner protecto plate. Car drives tight and solid doesn't wander all over the road the engine has plenty of pick up and go for highway cruising. These cars are only original once!
