Selling my 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT with clean, clear Colorado Title. I do have this for sale locally as well so auction may be ended at any time and all bids cancelled unless auctions ends with winning bidder. Local pickup only and buyer is responsible for ALL shipping arrangements (I can get it to a local shipper, within 25 miles of Zip Code 81526). Please note that with this being for sale locally, mileage may increase on odometer as it is being test driven by potential buyers (I am not driving this daily).
1978 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4...Custom
This Bronco is the first year of the Full Size Broncos and this body style was only produced for 2 years ('78-'79). Bronco runs and drives excellent! Has 400ci rebuilt and bored .040 over (Previous owner...about 30k on it), Forged flat-top high compression pistons, Isky Cam (lost spec sheet from previous owner), Roller Rockers & Guide Plates, Balanced Rotating Assembly & Fly Wheel, 4.56 Gears with true Detroit Locker in rear, Automatic C6 Transmission (rebuilt by previous owner about 20k ago), Weiand 4 Barrel Intake, New Valve Covers and Gaskets (Ford Racing), Holley 600 CFM 4 Barrel Carburetor (I have new jet kit and seals for this carb that are included), Proform HEI (High Energy Ignition) Ignition System upgrade (I have an Advanced Curve Kit for this that is included), New spark plugs & plug wires, New electric fuel pump, new Holley fuel pressure regulator, new filler neck and vent hoses, new return fuel line kit, 130A 3G Alternator upgrade with dual belt pulley, dual battery set-up, "spare" deep cycle charges while engine is running, isolated with Stinger 200 Amp Isolator, new Champion 4 Row oversize aluminum radiator, new thermostat, new Dual 1500 CFM Cooling fans (3000 CFM total), new Derale Dual Fan Controller, new aftermarket tach (on steering column), new AEM Wideband AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) gauge (on steering column), Line-X Paint, new 33/12.50R15 tires, new Moog U-Joints, new CV Yoke, new heater core, new shocks & steering dampener, new front brake calipers & pads, rear brakes completely rebuilt w/new pads, new OEM bumpers & OEM side mirrors, new Curt Tow Hitch, Windshield & Topper window seals replaced, all new exterior light lenses and seals, inexpensive stereo head unit, door speakers and boxed 6x9s, Boss Audio 600-Watt amp (connected to door speakers and 6x9s), Boss Audio 1600-Watt amp (may or may not be working...sold the subs a long time ago).
Need to complete:
Rear wheel seals are starting leak slightly. I have new axle shafts, all seals and bearings to complete this project...just no time or desire.
Needs power brake booster...maybe $100 part and a little work, brakes are now non-power but work fine if you use them like non-power brakes.
You get the idea. I am most certainly forgetting a lot of stuff, over $13k in the project.
