Car description |
---|
This 1979 Ford Bronco Custom has a 351M engine with an automatic transmission. It has power disc brakes and power steering. It spent the last 20 years or so up in Kentucky and was owned by a guy who was in the military. He used it for fishing and kept good care of it. This is a beast and sounds great (Dual exhaust). Runs and drives awesome. Aftermarket steering wheel, stereo, and front bumper, otherwise pretty stock. I always wanted to put it back to stock myself as it can easily be put back to stock.
Minimal rust with no structural rust. This is a clean toad that could use some sanding and a repaint. It comes with a bunch of spare mechanical and body parts. It even comes with OEM beltline trim that was purchased for it but never installed.
The car is located in Knoxville Tennessee. Clean tennessee title in hand with my name on it.

VIN - U15HLDH4998
MECHANICAL
351M engine (This is what it came with from the factory per the VIN, but I have not confirmed this)
2bbl carb (may be original?)
3 speed automatic transmission (Shifts great)
Power disc brakes
Power steering
4x4 works well
WARN Premium locking hubs
Welded on Tow Hitch and trailer wiring (I believe this is factory?)
Dual front shocks
True dual exhaust sounds awesome.
Odometer shows 99,147 and with how well this thing drives this could be original
INTERIOR
Original Captain Chairs, both with their 2 armrests in good shape. They appear to have been reupholstered at some point?
Rear seat in good shape
Original OEM seatbelts front and rear
Original center console
Heat works well
Dash lights work
Fuel gauge works
Aftermarket Vacuum gauge
Has original dome light
Sun Visors
Dash is cracked
Windows roll up and down but could use new felt trim
Complete factory spare tire holder.
Factory jack under hood
Appears to have been an AC car from the factory, but does not have working AC currently
Rear power window works well and could use some new weatherstripping as the original is cracked and causes it to go off track
BODY
33x12.5/15 tires hold air well and run fine, but have some age on them
Sits high, I'm not sure if there is a lift installed.
Exterior lighting all works. One parking light on the passenger side doesn't come on but I assume this is a bulb
Aftermarket front bumper with WINCH holder
Minimal surface rust around.
No structural/frame rust
Some minor rust around the bottom but floors are solid
All door jambs look to be rust free but had poor-quality paint thrown on them
Hardtop looks to be in excellent shape on the inside
I see some possible work done to the rear tailgate area, but it doesn't look too bad
Comes with a bunch of trim and emblems
Comes with beltline trim
The FORD emblems on the hood are loose and need to be re-installed properly.
New ignition cylinder installed
No door keys - you can get a set of new lock cylinders for under $20 on ebay. It wasn't an issue for me because I never needed to lock it!
Driver side mirror is missing. Just the mirror itself, not the actual side mirror housing.
Paint looks good in photos but it was a spray can job I believe, or just a cheap paint job. Looks great going down the road though!
Windshield is cracked, mainly on passenger side
