Rat Rod daily driver!!! Everything you see is a1954 ford F100 pickup truck with permanent shell. Everything you don't see is a 1971 Lincoln Continental. So she rides like a Cadillac only better because it's a Ford! 460 big block. New Edelbrock four barrel carburetor, new headers, new exhaust etc. Famous bulletproof ford C6 automatic transmission. Four wheel disc brakes with tons of stopping power. Power steering. Coil spring suspension air assist shocks in the rear. New radiator, plugs, wires, coil, two hitch receiver, etc. All the lights and gauges work. The turn signal indicator came off the steering column so needs to be fixed. Starts super quick and easy, runs like a race truck but is fun to just squat around in and turn some heads. The lady's love to drive it. Has a nice deep rumble but not too loud. It cruses down the freeway just fine and will go faster than you want to go but she is comfortable around 65-70 mph no problem and she loves going up hills. Motor runs at correct temperature never gets hot. Tires are in excellent shape and at 90% no sign of wearing. The shell was added back in the 70s by a guy that lived in it and served in the army. It is a very good sturdy build. It is open to the cab so it's like a van or tiny motorhome RV. He also modified the tailgate with built in stairs that fold down. It works great for hauling tools and camping. I have driven and camped out of this truck all the way from Boise Idaho all around southern Utah to Durango Colorado and up through the Rocky Mountains to Grand Junction and back over to Salt Lake Utah without skipping a beat. Even towed a small horse trailer with gear no problem. I currently drive it a few times a week and just got back from camping in Green River Utah. It gets about 12 mpg. Which is better than a Hummer. The 2 front bucket seats are electric adjustable, leather from a later model vehicle. They work but are not in the best shape. The things that need work: Front bumper. I lost the chrome front bumper in the pictures. Where the modified camper top meets the cab of the truck just above the windshield needs the most body work. I have it covered the gap with duct tape and it's working right now but will need a better fix. I was thinking of adding a trucker style valance to close it up but no time. The rest of the body including the floor pans are really solid. There are some rust patches in the corners of the fenders but I wouldn't worry about them they should last several more years. It's definitely not a body worth restoring. It's a rat now. Best to let it go as much as possible. Windshield is good and one side window is cracked. The side windows go up and down but are very rough. Right windshield wiper arm is missing. The wiper motor works well and has 2 speeds. Has two fuel tanks but only one is operational. The chrome is flaking off the genuine Crager wheels. $5500 cash, pay pal or I could maybe even take a credit card. No jokesters or low ball offers please. I've had plenty of those. This is the real deal and a very good one. You can't find a daily driver well built rat rod for under 9k. Thank you for looking. I made a YouTube video about the truck if you are interested. https://youtu.be/XGztXRHf8X4
