.
1930 Ford Model A Tudor
VERY solid car.
Well preserved.
Restoration work done in 2002 and the car has been dry stored ever since with only parade and local car show use.
Car starts, runs, drives and stops EXCELLENT!
Easy, dependable starting procedure. Smooth clutch action and shifting.
No smoke or mechanical worries.
New Battery, water pump, plugs, points and all bulbs are new.
I recently installed ALL new brake shoes/hardware on all (4) corners. Car stops great!
All (5) wheels have been professionally water blaster andpowder coated gloss black.
New tubes and tires.
Originalvacuum wiper motor works with new wiper blade.
Interior is in fantastic condition with "tumble" seats.
All lights (Hi/Lo/tail/dome) and horn work great!
Car steers tight and drives nicelydown the road (or as nicely as any A Model drives).
Overall the car LOOKS GREAT!! The paint is very nice and the car hold the gloss black paint very well.
HOWEVER, the paint has its flaws. Chips, scratches and a few flakes. Mostly from storage. There are also some dull areas on the thresholds and bubbles on the lower door corners (see video).
Car runs COOLmost all the time, BUT on REALLY HOT days it will burp coolant out of the overflow. We have had 98-104 degree days lately with 80% humidity and heat indexes of 120. The car stays in the garage and is not driven during this heat.
Clear Indiana title in hand.Currently plated and insured to me.
This is a fun car to drive and educate future generations about the simplicity of this durable design.
Thanks
