Car description |

Fire breathing Red, Boss 429 Pro-steet 1970 Ford fastback Mustang with a 4 speed and a bad attitude. Over $25000 spent on the engine and heads alone. This is not a Z-code, quarter million dollar plus, Boss 429 Mustang, it is much meaner and is offered at a fraction of the price. Under the hood of this Mustang stallion is a bigger, badder, 545ci Ford Racing big-block V8 engine topped off with aluminum Boss 429 aluminum heads. A gas guzzling Holley Dominator 4 barrel carburetor perched on a high-rise intake manifold, MSD ignition, tubular headers dumping into heavy duty, large capacity, performance dual exhaust. This steet beast started as a factory 1970 Mach 1 and comes with many Mach 1 amenities: fog-light grille, lower aluminum trim, black hood stripe and black rear panel. The interior is a very nice black with Comfortweave bucket seats, woodgrain trim, console and 3 spoke steering wheel. Classic visuals include the front spoiler, rear-window slats, rear spoiler and Shaker hood scoop adapted to the 545. The Mach 1 is also equipped with a 4 speed transmission with Hurst T-handle shifter, front disc brakes, Powermaster alternator and aluminum radiator with Boss 429 badging added. This American Street Beast is rolling on chrome Magnum 500 wheels wrapped by BF Goodrich white letter radial T/A tires.
