Car description

**Relisted due to shell account bid.**
* Guys, thank you for the direct message offers. I am going to let the auction run its course. I appreciate you reaching out to me. I have received inquiries about driving the truck around the state instead of shipping. I have driven the truck to Tahoe a couple of times, but if you end up buying I would recommend replacing the engine as stated below before taking any long trips*
Guys and Gals, I am at a crossroad. I am not in a rush to sell, but I am moving to the other side of the country and debating whether to sell my 1974 Bronco project or go through the trouble/expense of shipping. If you're a California buyer you may already know that a 74' is the last year that does not require SMOG and therefore anything can be done to this old beauty. It has a clean title, straight frame, power steering, and is a 3 speed. Gears shift smoothly.
Upgrades:-when I got the truck installed 23 gallon rear gas tank (aux tank in-op)-new custom dual exhaust 3 years ago-new radiator a couple of years ago-front brakes have been upgraded to disks a couple years ago-had power brake system completely replaced last year-the suspension was upgraded to a James Duff 3.5" lift-all bushings were replaced in suspension last year-the rear leaf springs were upgraded to National springs last year-Toyo wide 31" tires have lots of tread left-Tuff Box glove box and under passenger seat locking boxes installed-Comes with Corbeau rear bench seat-Uninstalled set of new in box Bilstein shocks-Upgraded headlights-replaced all turn signal and break light covers and seals-has moon roof and optional roof rack was installed by a previous owner
I am at the point where I'm either going to sell my project, upgrade the existing 180 horse engine to a 350 horse power crate engine, or do an EFI conversion.
I have owned this rig for about 5 years and my brother purchased it from a collector in Washington State at least 3 years before that. I don't have an accurate mileage on the existing engine, and have had the broken odometer cluster replaced with a new digital set up that is spot on (professionally installed and tested).
The interior was rhinolined by a previous owner. When I got the truck, I converted the fiberglass hood back to an original steel hood, had the broken tire rack removed and mounting points sealed, and had Bushwacker fenderflares installed(need to be rehung with rivets). The paint job was not that great on one of the fender flairs where gasoline spilled on it and has flaked.
The frame is rust free and there is some surface paint peeling in the engine bay with surface rust, which can easily be brushed off and repainted when the engine is replaced. Just also noticed there are a few spots of bubbling around seams in passenger side quarter panel and tailgate.
I travel a lot for work, so my time is limited on when I can coordinate shipping. However, I will do my best to accomodate buyers requirements. If using PayPal, please add 3% to final payment for their fees. Thank you for looking!
