Car description |

Up for bid is a solid, recently painted 1971 Ford Bronco. These early broncos are hard to find in good condition at a good price point. This bronco is virtually stock 1971, with the original 302, 3 spd - it has the original Ford 9" and Dana 30 with a Dana 20 transfer case. It even has the factory exhauston it.It retainsthe factory manual steering and brakes. It is mechanical sound and runs and drives without an issue. The truck spent its life in western Wyoming until 2014.
The truck was repaintGrabber Blue (originally green) it 2016, where the front floor boards were also replaced. At the same time the front glass, wipers and motor, as well as a new Best Soft Top and doors were installed.
The bronco is sitting on stock suspension (from what I can tell also original) with larger 33" tires that were put on at the time of painting. The front tires rub a small amount on the fenders when going over a bump at speed. The truck could use a lift kit or updated suspension.
Overall the truck is stock with updated paint and refreshed exterior.
I had bought the bronco with plans to update the mechanicals and equip it with a mild lift and bigger tires -- but it has been sitting more than being worked on. It's a great vehicle and I am sure there is a group of folks that love broncos that not only appreciate the condition of this one, but have the time to retrofit it to their liking.
I'm posting a variety of photos - near, far, under, inside, indoors, outdoors, etc. There is nothing to hide with the vehicle; its a solid unit with no rusty secrets. It hasn't been undercoated and it very solid.
The bronco is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction early. The reserve is lower than you would expect for what the condition would bring. Good luck and let me know if you have some questions.
