Car description |

This 1931 Ford Model A Pickup is a great start for a pretty cool project. It is my intention to describe this vehicle as well as I can, but I encourage any and all interested buyers to look at all of the pictures and contact me either through the eBay message board or by calling me, Chad, at (406)403-6921 with any questions you may have. This truck has a clear Montana title in my name and I will also issue a notarized Bill of Sale with the truck.
Engine/Transmission/Rear End: While I don't know much about the engine other than it turns free, it is said to run and drive. The transmission shifts well and it rolls nicely in neutral. It will roll, steer, and brake for transport.
Body/Sheet Metal: The box, fenders and running boards are in good condition. The cab is very solid with the obvious exceptions seen in the photos. While there is significant rust in the lower cowl sides, the lower doors, the cab corners and the lower edge of the back of the cab, the surrounding sheet metal is solid for welding to. So, these areas are very repairable. I also have access to another cowl that is in far better condition for an additional sale (contact me for details). Also, even though there is rust in the sheet metal, this did not get into the sub-rails or the floor area under the seat. The front floor was wood, of course, and needs to be replaced. The box is rather solid with a few areas needing light repair. At Montana Vintage Tin, LLC we are also authorized dealers for Brookville Roadster replacement parts and can sell most all the patch panels necessary to rehab this cab and box. Please contact me if you are interested in a price quote for the necessary parts. Although it is not pictured on the truck, there is a new visor that is included with the sale.
Interior: While there is not much to the interior of these trucks to begin with, it is pretty complete with this truck. Glass, of course, is all in need of replacement. This is all flat, though, and easily cut at your local glass shop.
Again, this truck sells with a clear Montana title and a notarized Bill of Sale. It is being sold in "as is/where is" condition and no warranty/guarantee - written or implied - exists with this vehicle. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer, although I can assist with transport arrangements and with loading. Payment in full must be made prior to the vehicle being released for transport. An immediate, nonrefundable deposit of $500.00 is required upon sale completion. The vehicle must be picked up for transport within 30 days of sale completion. Again, if there are questions or concerns please feel welcome to reach out to me via eBay message board or by phone: Chad (406)403-6921.
