The doors, hood, and trunk lid align correctly. The paint & body are in very good to excellent condition throughout. This is a car that will do well at local car shows and larger regional events. Although not a born GT, the car is a true "A" code 4bbl. (225HP) optioned Mustang. During the restoration, the GT trumpet exhaust system was added along with the badging, fog lamps, & GT instrumentation.

This '65 Mustang performs as good as it looks.

Open the doors to 1965. The interior showcase deluxe upholstery along with the updated underdash A/C unit & 5 gauge GT dash. An updated AM/FM Mustang stereo has been installed as well. The carpeting, seat belts, door panels, dash, and soft rubber components were replaced during the extensive restoration.

Sorry we shot this photo before the horns were installed. It has dual horns now.

Power comes from the 4bbl. 289 "A" code V8, rated at 225 horsepower. This car has upgrades including an aluminum intake & free-flowing header exhaust system. The engine runs excellent, paired with the 4-speed manual transmission. Finned aluminum Ford Racing valve covers have been installed along with a low profile chromed breather. Updates include air conditioning & a Borgeson power steering system & front disc brakes with updated booster/master cylinder. The engine compartment & hood underside is nicely detailed. Cooling duties are handled by a quality aftermarket aluminum radiator.

You can see the extent of the nut & bolt restoration efforts. The inner fenders, core support & firewall are in excellent condition as is the undercarriage (see photos below)

The undercarriage is in great shape.

Enjoy our remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
