1964 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr Sedan. Correct body style to build Thunderbolt replica. Car originally built in San Jose. CA and spent most of it's life there. I will try to give a complete and accurate description of this vehicle. Drivetrain: Original F-code 260 V8 backed by three speed manual with overdrive. Car does not currently run. Motor turns over by hand. I have never attempted to start it as I intended to build a Thunderbolt clone. Body: Mostly straight. has some damage on front part of left front fender and slight damage on rear quarter panel by rear taillight. Left rear wheelwell has some rust developing on the lip. Front floorpans will need replacing as well as some patching of the trunk pan. There is an area of the trunk lip on left side that will need repaired where the weatherstripping sits. There is a sheetmetal patch on the transmission tunnel underneath the dash for some unknown reason. Doors are good. no rust in driprails. Hood and trunk good. trunk latch is missing. Trim: Missing upper windshield moulding and one small piece on rear quarter panel near right rear taillamp. Spear behind driver's side front door is damaged. Left front headlight bezel has damage. Bumpers are good with only a slight crease on the front bumper just to the passenger side of the license plate. Glass: All good. Interior: Baked from the California sun. Will need complete refurbishing. Front bench seat is broken on driver's side where it pivots. Headliner is still there. Rear package tray sun baked. Dash is good and still retains original radio. This car needs a complete restoration but is all original and is nearly complete. It is a solid California car that has never been cut on or molested. Still wears it's original California black license plates. I have too many other projects to complete the Thunderbolt transformation. I am happy to answer any questions through Ebay.
