1965 Mustang Convertible V8 289 4V "A-Code" 4 speed

Recently restored from the ground up, first year Mustang convertible. The car is the highly desirable factory "A" Code with a power top and a 4-speed transmission. The car is a stunning color combination with a Rangoon Red exterior and Red & White Pony Interior. The car was highly optioned from the factory with a coveted Rally Pac, Styled Steel Wheels, Remote Side view mirror, full-length console, etc. The car spent most of its life in the southern California desert and is virtually rust free. All body panels and frame are original. The 289 4-barrel engine was rebuilt by the previous owner along with the 4-speed top loader. The car also has an upgraded 9" Ford rear with 3:55 gears. Runs and drives like a dream. Very fun car, perfect for car shows and reliable to be driven anywhere. Always garaged and never exposed to the elements. I purchased the car and performed a ground up restoration. Nearly everything on this car has been replaced or restored in the past 3 years. Every single wire in the car is new, interior is new, etc., etc. Only the highest quality parts have been used (Scott Drake, FordMoCo, ACP, etc.) The car was painted in 2014 with PPG Rangoon Red. There is one small air bubble in the paint (see last pic) and a very small "crumb size" chip on the trunk lid.
