Description
1966 Mustang Fastback GT with the original engine and transmission down the the carburetor. Has correct date tags on carb and intake manifold. I don't think the engine has ever been removed. The door tag, buck tag, and front apron all match the vin on the title. The odometer reads 86,000 and the 2nd owner told me that was true.The engine cranks up and runs but the transmission doesn't go into gear most of the time. The car needs a full restoration but everything is there and untouched. The car was last registered in the late 80's and I bought from the 2nd owner who had it stored in a garage for the last 20+ years.
The engine bay, shock towers and front frame rails are solid and in good shape. The floors, quarters, trunk and passenger rear frame rail need work due to rust. I don't see where the car has ever been wrecked.
