You are bidding on a true "farm find truck" with 40,000 miles. I purchased it a couple years ago from the original owners family in South West Missouri. Grandpa ordered it new in 65. It was only driven around the farm and to town for feed, Sunday church and haircuts. Its about as original as you will find right down to the original red gas cap & floor mat. It was a base truck. No radio, one side mirror & one sun visor. The tailgate and has been replaced as well as the seat recovered last year. The 4 original dog dish hub caps are included. The 15" wheels are orig. and have been blasted and painted satin black. This truck was Special ordered with Ford's (new for 1965) 300 inline 6 cyl said to be one of Fords best ever motors. It starts right up and runs strong. Burns no oil. Transmission is the standard 3 speed shift on the column and shifts like new. This truck has many farm dents and dings. Please look at all pictures closely. A 4x8 sheet of steel has been welded in the bed as shown. There are NO rust holes to be found except under the sheet in the bed. Great original Red paint with surface rust ( Patina ). The floors, cab mounts and rocker panels are solid and rust free. The shocks, rear brake lines, hoses and parking brake cables are all new this year. I have new front brake hoses for it yet to be installed. Its not perfect being 52 yrs old.You won't be sorry you bought this one. It turns heads wherever its driven. Sold as is. Located 50 miles East of St Louis in So Illinois. I'm happy to answer anything about it as best as I can.
