Up for auction is a very solid 1970 Ford Bronco. It has a strong running 302 that just had a fresh oil change and filter. It has newer spark plugs. Carb works well except for the choke needs to be fixed. It starts right up and runs well. Dual exhaust with original exhaust manifolds. Transmission is a 3-speed on the column and shifts pretty good. Transfer case shifts in and out of 4-wheel drive with out much trouble. It has new Warn Locking Hubs. It has a Dana 30 front end. This bronco is equipped with POWER STEERING that works great!! It has the correct pump and steering sector for the early Bronco. Drum brakes are new all the way around including hardware kits. new adjusters. new shoes. new wheel cylinders. new lines. new master cylinder. and the drums where turned. This bronco stops good and straight. I also replaced all of the bearings and seals. The 4-wheel drive works as it should although there is a little slack in the front drive shaft. This bronco has a body lift. It has a new rear steel gas tank and new filler hose and vent hose along with new sending unit (gas gauge does not currently work but I'm certain it is just a wire. All other gauges work. This bronco doesn't overheat and it holds about 35 pounds of oil pressure when warm. The body on this bronco is very nice and solid as can be. The paint looks awful but the body is good. The front floors are showing some signs of surface rust but nothing rotted through. It looks as if the front floor pans are galvanized. The rear floors are excellent along with the wheel wells. No rust in the rear to speak of other than mild surface rust (mostly dirt) underneath. The doors are good and solid along with the door pillars and strikers. The rocker panels are solid. The inner fenders and firewall are in great shape. The rear quarter panels are solid and no rust where the quarter panels meet the upper. The doors line up very well and open and close very well. The tailgate is solid. Top is in good shape. The hood and front right fender need to be repaired. This bronco was originally painted solid Wimbledon White. You can see the white coming though in most places. The headlights. tail lights. brake lights. and blinkers all work properly. It has new lenses in the front blinkers/parking lights. tail/brake lights. and 3 side markers (the side marker is missing where the front right fender is dented). The side marker lenses are new but they do not light up (they need new pigtails). The windshield wipers work. The heat works. The windshield is cracked but I will include a good windshield with the high bid. Drivers side rear view mirror is gone. The original rear view mirror that goes on the windshield is included.
