Car description |
---|
Strait, solid, excellent driver. Not a perfect 10, but elegant, powerful and gorgeous in it's Presidential Blue. Chrome is excellent and the 429 thunder Jet is equipped with custom headers. Tires have plenty of life left. I've enjoyed the car for the last 11 years and am now thinning the herd.
Quirks:
AC does not work (has not been converted)
After warming up, I shift into neutral at long stops as the engine tends to bog down a bit.
Some carb issues after replacing the old gas cap with a new one. My mechanic examined the situation and walked back to release the gas cap and it made a "whoosh" sound. Now, no issues as long as the cap is "slightly" loose.
All paint is good except for a dullness in the middle of the hood. Probably from 50 years of carburetor heat. It waxes out so you won't see it in the pictures.
Very slight, short cracking on top of the middle of the dash. Again, too small to see in the pictures.
Additional questions please message me.
Car is sold "as is" with no warranties. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
