This is it!! The real deal!! A Real Model T Speedster. Not a replica, Not a kit car or reproduction. My Dad found this car in a barn in Franklin Louisiana in 1974. The two old pictures are as he found it. I was 12 years old when he brought it home. I remember him telling me and my brothers that he bought it from an old man, who's dad (a plantation owner) bought it new in 1913. After a few years in service, he sent the car off to a coach works (the first time I heard that word) company, to have it re-bodied as a speedster (i think in 1927 or 28) and gave to his son as a graduation present. No Idea who the company was, but the woodwork and sheet metal is second to none! My dad set about restoring the car and got the body work, white paint and interior professionally done. Beautiful black diamond tufted leather! Found a cool brass "monocle" windshield. The chassis blasted and primed, engine rebuilt with several high performance mods....then the oil field crash of 1980 hit and the car was stored until his death in 1997. My brother Greg, inherited the car and he and I jumped on it to finish it in memory of my dad, who had no less than 8 VERY old cars we did everything in, so it was in our blood growing up. He sent off the hubs and rims to a guy in Oregon who re-wooded the wheel with the correct round fallows. new Firestone tires. We picked up the engine and trans, painted them and the frame and started assembly. Body was repainted red. He chose to go back with a brass 1913 radiator and hood instead of the 27-28 hood and radiator. The car has always ran great, starts with one pull on the hand crank, and is so finely tuned....it will sometimes start by just turning on the mag switch!!! Greg drove the car everywhere for years, until life got in the way, as it does sometimes. Now.... due to medical issues, he has, with a heavy heart, decided that its time to let someone else enjoy "Speedy" as its always been called. I am listing it for him as he doesn't have an Ebay account, but I can answer most questions, or give you his phone number. so please don't hesitate to call me or him with any questions at all!. My number is 337-298-5141, my name is Todd. Below is a list of equipment and things that make her special! The reserve is low....so please don't bid, if you expect to win the car. Thanks

My brother just sent a picture of the original brass lights that the old man said came on the car new and gave to my dad even though they weren't on the car. They are included in the auction, along with an early teens jack and other knic knacks.
