Beautiful 1955 Thunderbird with power seat. windows. brakes and steering. along with automatic transmission. Excellent chrome/stainless. Original wire wheel covers and fender skirts go with car. along with numerous new parts that were purchased for car but were just not needed. such as new brake shoes. brake cylinders. wheel bearings. brake rubber lines. etc. . along with '56 battery tray and expensive reproduction '56 battery. Also comes with manuals for shop. electrical. carburetor. transmission and owners. Upgrades include dual stainless steel exhaust. radiator. water pump. fan. front and rear sway bars and 12 volt conversion. Recently rebuilt speedometer and replaced a seat motor. Now. for the stuff other sellers would not even tell you. but my belief in complete honesty requires me to disclose. there is a small area of a few small rust spots/pinholes on the passenger side on the trunk floor. It must have had a trunk seal leak at one time but not a big deal at all. I have enclosed photos of the area. just for absolute and complete information. The paint has a few chips on the hood and headlight bezels. and there is a slight crease on the passenger door that is not easy to see. The car has a few small leaks underneath from the power steering. etc. . as most do. This is about as good of a driver quality car that you will see and has been an absolute pleasure to own for 13 years. after I purchased it at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. Anyone would be very fortunate to own and drive this car. The car was previously owned by Richard Carpenter of "The Carpenters" singing duo. The speedometer was reset to "0" when the restoration was performed by apparently Prestige Thunderbirds in California. since their decals were on the car when I purchased it.
