Exceptionally restored 1956 Ford small back window, Custom Cab pickup. 100% nut and bolt, frame off restoration with full photo documentation of the build and teardown. The truck was a low mileage, stock, former Fire Chief's truck out of Virginia that ran and drove before tear down. The entire bed is brand new and all panels were either replaced or hand repaired the right way without filler. The drive components were completely rebuilt with the exception of the original, low mileage differential but the effort included full long-block engine rebuild, transmission and torque converter rebuild. Upgrades include electronic distributor, dry cell battery, correct original Rams-Horn exhaust manifolds, dual Flowmaster exhaust and modern radio/CD tucked away in the glovebox. Other items are stainless fasteners throughout and both front and rear bumpers are full stainless pieces.A true labor of love by my father and I and a very reluctant sell. Museum quality rebuild with full dependability in mind. Original truck was not cut, spliced or molested in any way from original. No disappointments and can be driven anywhere and always fires right up. Always garaged and covered. Please feel free to ask all questions before bidding. $500, non-refundable deposit is required via PayPal at auction close so please ensure bid sincerity. Good luck and thanks much.
