This is a RARE, RARE, RARE find and a car that comes with an interesting history.
This car was literally saved from the crusher after being found by me standing on the line at Nevada Pic A Part in Henderson, NV. I work primarily at our North Las Vegas yard and to everyone at the Henderson yard, it was just another Crown Vic. I recognized the Touring Sedan immediately and checked to ensure it was the coveted P75 designation, and it was! The row the car was in was 3 days away from going to the crusher and being scrapped. I posted it as "The Junkyard Car of the Day" on my Facebook Page, "The Junkyard Hunter" and it exploded from there. After the initial post hit over 3000 views (in less than 24 hours), I went to my bosses here at Nevada Pic A Part and convinced them to remove the car from the line and offer it for sale as a complete car as interest in it was through the roof. In an unprecedented move, they agreed! After a couple more posts on my FB page, the national automotive blog BANGshift(dot)com picked up the story. So far, on this car alone, I have had well over 20,000 page views and the pleas to save the car have been heard!!! This auction is the result of those pleas!!!
After the car was pulled from the line, it was photographed again sitting on the ground and a Deluxe Marti Report was ordered for the car. The Marti Report will be included with the sale.
