Description

This will be as honest of a description of this car as I can give. I'll apologize for thelength of it now, ut I'd like to upright and honest from get-go.1989 Ford Mustang GT34k Original MilesOriginal paint and interiorThe Good: This is a very, ery clean, ell maintained and taken care of car. It was purchased from an older couple that bought the car to enjoy on the occasional weekend cruise. It's been stored indoors its entire life, he original paint will verify that as it is in great condition for its age. Thereisn't a single spec of rust on this car anywhere, o cracks in theplastics, hips in the glass or anything we're used to seeing on these older Fox bodies. There are a few small chips up front on the plastic as expected on any car, ut it could be touched up in a matter of minutes and never be detected after that. The sides of the car are asstraight as an arrow, t drove great, teered great and braked great. You would be extremely hard pressed to find an original fox body in this kind of condition. It ran and shifted perfectly before I had to park it. Anyonewho's ever seen this car in person is amazed that its original, ncluding myself when I saw it for the first time. I've made a few slight upgrades that I thought would help improve thedrivability of the car, nd I'll list them here: - FlowMaster full length exhaust - MGW Short throw shifter - Disk brakes up front - Shelby 5 spoke Pony rims wrapped in Nitto NT555's (Roughly 90% tread left) - Full length fully welded subframe connectersOther than whats listed, his car is bone stock. The Bad: The car had a few parts stolen off of it, left it at a local mechanics shop overnight to have the fuel lines and fuel tank cleaned out after the winter. Even though we had a verbal agreement that the car was not to sit outside over night, e did so anyways. This was in 2011, nd the cars sat in my building ever since. I've told myself I'd get around to fixing it eventually, ut I've got too many toys and projects and I've just neglected it for the last 4 years. It had less than 300 miles put on the car by myself before the incident at the shop, o this truly has been babied its entire life. This is what was taken off the car: - Heads - Intake and manifold - Water pump - Alternator - Fan - Hood Theres also a dent about the size of a human foot on the cowl, 'm assuming while they were in there taking parts off the car one of them stepped on the cowl. Thats the only conclusion that I can come to.Now this car could EASILY be drivable again with a small budget and a little elbow grease. If the stolen parts were put back on the original short block (still inside the car) it could be up and running in a day or so. I honestly hate to see it go, ecause for about a thousand bucks it could be back on the road again, just haven't gotten around to setting the time aside for it and don't know when I will, o its up for grabs. Now I know what this car is worth in todays market and with the work needed done, nd I've set the reserve at a great price on this car, owever I will not give it away.If you have ANY questions at all, lease feel free to ask. I will help with shipping as best I can, ut ultimately that's the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks for taking the time to read.
