Car description |

Bought from a buddy. His wife wanted it gone/the money. She got both when I did him a favor. It only has 76,451 original miles. That's only 2000 miles a year.
If you have less than 10 ebay buys please contact me before bidding.
Actual vin # is 8H47H173170. Ebay format doesn't recognize at its prior to 1981.
I consider this a light restoration project. Great vintage classic. To be your's - if the Price is Right.
Added Feb. 28th - I will have oil, and radiator fluids new. A new radiator cap and at least a thermostat in a box if I don't have the time to install. Vehicle has been mine for two weeks only. Selling As-Is where is. It starts, drives and the breaks are in good condition as well. I just drove it 200 miles up here to the lake. With a bid of $3200.00 or more that is!
This is not a rusted out car. What you see on the bottom sides is surface rust after I had taken it to a car wash. It merely needs treated/Sanded and primed until able to be repainted if you so choose.
Update on Feb. 27th I have an offer of $3000 from a CL buyer in Detroit, Mi. - So my offer here stands at $3200 or greater. Item will not be reposted regardless at this bargain price.
Very nice cruiser. It's a daily summer driver for sure.
Needs a lot of cosmetic things but those won't hurt the pocket book a lot. Depends on how well the finished product is.
Adding the window has a crack/break about the size of a 50 cent piece under the wiper blade on passenger side - may have been caused by cold weather and the blades sticking or? May be able to seal it up and use the entire windsheild for a season or to. Not in danger of leaks at that spot. It's got a hairline runner from that spot as well.
Previous owner stated he had the car fully insured for $10 g.
Short pipe dual exhaust.
The truck cap is pretty awesome. It has a fully functioning lift door.
Tail gate has a large dent that will require body work and paint. Opens and closes as it should.
Carpet in the truck bed. Top has never been off.
The split moon roof was done by the dealer. It was repainted new from the dealer from a creme color to the two tone brown from day on ownership.
Nice tires and rims.
I am coming up to work on this vehicle this weekend. Going to check into replacing thermostat and the radiator cap. I noticed it was running a bit on the warm side. It easily made a 200 mile drive. Oil and new radiator fluid will be added as well as a new filter.
Very throaty car. I am not a mechanic but for an older car it seems like a diamond in the rough. Proper touches and this will make a fine cruiser - or even use it as a small work truck.
Adding Feb. 28th. If you have any questions regarding this Ranchero you can Call me at 937-329-5633. It's located in Lakeside Marblehead between Toledo and Sandusky on Lake Erie. Just to give you a heads up I won't repost immediately - my start price is more than reasonable for what it is/you'd be getting. If anything I'll start restoring. The only reason for me to sell is that it helps me buy a boat.
