Car description

This car was purchase new back on September 29, 960 from Ray Shephard Ford in Kansas, nd was in kept within the previous owners family up until 2 years ago when I took ownership and has since made its home in N. Dallas. It's been a great vehicle that can and has been daily driven. It was registered as of last year & inspected, ith a clean Texas title in my name.Exterior:The paint has aged well to give it a nice flat patina, ith some areas showing signs of light surface rust. It is the original paint (Garden Turquoise). All stainless is there and still in great shape, ith very little dings here and there, othing that couldn't be remedied of you decide to do so. The body is very straight overall. There is a dent at the rocker on the passenger side, little cripple on the passenger fender and the light bezel has seen better days, ut is still intact. (all of which were there when I initially took ownership). The chrome bumpers are in good shape as well, howing only little sign of age and wear/tear. All glass is original, eatherstripping is intact. Small rock chip on the front windshield along with some signs of slight de-lamination at the top right corner.Interior:It's all there, front and rear seats are still wrapped in factory vinyl/cloth, oor cards are in great shape too! There are obvious signs of age, ut aside for one thumb size hole on the driver side and some of the vinyl drying up and cracking on the front bench - it still looks great! This particular Fairlane did not come with carpet, ut a rubberized floor covering, ost of which has been removed due to it dry rotting and falling apart. Traces can still be found from underneath the front bench to the firewall. Floors are solid with the exception of the small (pinky size) area of which the floor has began to rust through, ut can easily be patched or completely replaced. It hasn't bother me, o I've left it alone for now. All mechanical components within the interior work and operate, own to the vacuum wipers and cigarette lighter. The antenna needs to plug back in from the exterior side, ut the AM radio is functional along with the dash speaker.- new hi/low beam head lights- new light switch- new horn switch- new horn relayEngine Compartment:It's home to the original mileage maker six / (223 cui) inline six. All numbers matching. I purchased the car running with 63k original miles. And now currently has around 84k on the clock (this will change since I do drive it). The motor was pulled back in Jan.
