Henry Ford's 1932 V-8 roadster set the bar for the hot-rodding crowd with its balance of simplicity and timeless roadster styling, ut purists have long looked questionably at the relatively common practice of swapping out the classic flathead V-8 for powerplants sourced from other manufacturers. But the Ford-only contingent will certainly appreciate this custom-built 1932 roadster, hich the builder made sure would be 100-percent Blue Oval in nature, decision that earned the car the Goodguys Builder's Choice Ford-in-a-Ford Award in 2012. Based on a new Dearborn Deuce body and a TCI Engineering chassis, t incorporates a 4.6L version of Ford's V-8 engine mated to a Ford automatic transmission with overdrive. Complementing this 21st-century drivetrain is equally up-to-date independent front and rear suspension using chromed coilover shock absorbers at all four corners and incorporating power steering and high-performance four-wheel disc brakes. Body-painted wheels with chrome wires, enter caps and trim rings are fitted with staggered-sized radial tires for a slick nose-down attitude in classic Deuce style. The roadster's classic shape positively shines in Dark Blue Metallic paint, hich is matched with a contrasting Buttermilk interior featuring sharp leather upholstery. Carefully chosen upgrades include air and heat, lectronic door poppers, chromed Ididit tilting column with custom steering wheel, enwood sound and a display screen for the car's rear-mounted backup camera. Power windows and a foldable soft top make cruising a pleasure in practically any conditions, ood news for the owner who loves to drive, nd drive often.HIGHLIGHTS- New Dearborn Deuce body- TCI chassis- Detailed undercarriage- 4.6L Ford Coyote engine- Ford automatic transmission with overdrive- Independent front and rear suspension- Chrome coilover shocks- Power steering- 4-wheel disc brakes- Dark Blue Metallic with Buttermilk interior- Leather upholstery- Heat and air conditioning- Electronic door poppers- Chrome Ididit tilt column- Power windows- Foldable top- Kenwood CD stereo- Backup camera- Wire wheels with center caps- GoodGuys Builder's Choice Ford in a Ford, 012**note: the door poppers are not currently working also the paint blemishes in the last three photosCONTACT JIM @ 817-658-1016 FOR MORE INFORMATION
