As fall sets in here in the Mid West you begin to see the metamorphosis that transpires when mother nature begins to display her handy work.

One of my favorites attributes regarding fall here in St. Louis is the falling of leaves & cool temperatures.

Well.... If you are like me and love muscle cars you may have a sinister desire to see a vintage vehicle like this classic Ford Mustang raising Hell on the fall pavement & simultaneously causing those ole tired leaves to get blown by the wayside!

There is entirely too much that can and should be said about this particular classic pony.

It is truly hard to figure out just where to start.

1967 was the pinnacle year for beauty & performance for the Ford Mustang!

Many argue that it was the best.

This beautiful 1967 Ford helps to validate that argument on both fronts.

Let me first say that this pony is drop dead gorgeous & can't be driven a city block without causing mass hysteria!    

The car was originally sold to a gentleman in Nashville Tennessee in the fall of 1967(RUST FREE).

This particular individual ordered the car from Crown Ford suited to his taste.

From what I understand an absolute must for him was Fords NightMist Blue Poly paint that you see the car covered in today.

Although I have been a fan of mostly red & black cars my entire life this little Mustang quickly helped me change my mind!  

The vehicle has only been painted once outside of the original finish.

The last time she entered a paint both was in the spring of 2013. It is a pleasure for me to say that the craftsman took pride in his work. As a matter of fact he is particularly known for painting Muscle Cars in the Mid West!

At any rate this Mustangs exterior is drop dead gorgeous! The paint is smooth to the touch & must be seen to be truly appreciated!  

The base coat clear coat method was used without doubt to complete the task.

The paint is absolutely stunning & there are really no major imperfections to speak of.

You will however find a few minor scratches or maybe a tiny chip.

The brilliant blue finish shines wonderfully at day & almost has gives off a hint or aura of navy blue metallic at night!

If you aren't a people person or don't like random strangers approaching you "this is not the vehicle for you"!!!

Once the car leaves the garage people are drawn to it! It is common place to have people take pictures with their cell phones & constantly question you about it!

Fun for me .....I wouldn't have it any other way!

Getting back to the Mustang:

You will find that this pony car has had every detail addressed.

This Mustang has excellent chrome throughout!

From bumper to bumper this vehicles quality is very evident!

Actually the front & rear bumpers have been rechromed (great shape)!

The door handles, ocks & all other exterior appointments have been restored to their natural beauty as well!

All of the minor details have been attended to.

We replaced the gas cap, ail lights bezels & back up lights!

All exterior emblems have been replaced with quality N.O.S. parts also! The upper & lower grille moldings have been replaced.

I am more than confident that the new owner of this Mustang will be happy with its overall appearance!  

This Blue Oval still has the Ford racing staple iconic hood firmly attached to the body with stunning chrome mirrors!

The intergrated turn signals tucked away inside the hood actually work! With just one flick of the switch ...they jump into action! 

The Raven Black vinyl top on this Mustang really helps to add yet more flavor!

The top is damage free & in fantastic condition! The black & blue contrast is amazing!

`The total picture is a Classic Ford Enthusiast Dream....simply a match made in Heaven!

All & all the exterior is extremely pleasing to the eye! This pony is ready SHOW OR GO!

Now that I have talked a bit about this Mustangs exterior let's see what see has inside.

Upon opening the door of this classic Mustang you will quickly appreciate its uniform clean interior!

This Mustangs interior plays its part well in conjunction with the exterior.

The Raven black upholstery throughout is in excellent condition! The seat covers are like new.....flawless! The complete interior was restored at Taylor Classic Upholstery shop in Chicago. The second owner shipped the car some 500 miles away to have the work done there!

The finished product is nothing short of amazing!

The seat buns, eat cushions, eat upholstery & almost every other stitch of this cars interior was replaced at that time (2013).

This results in hours of care free comfortable driving and sheer pleasure when cruising long distances...unlike most other classic Mustangs!

The dash in this pony was restored & is excellent condition as well! There are no imperfections to be found regarding it (no sun fading, racks, tc).

When the second owner sent the car off to have the work done he meant business!

He also had the headliner replaced at the time.

The headliner is in like new condition!

The dome light was also replaced. 

You will also notice that this Mustang has a perfect set of black door panels nicely attached inside as well.

The door panels are in stellar shape & new window cranks, ocks and other hardware was replaced at the time also .  

The inner quarter upholstery must been seen to truly be appreciated! They along with the packing tray & seal rails were replaced.

All of the surrounding glass in the car is damage free! The glass is on track & operating as it should. Front & back winshield are also damage free!

This Mustang has a beautiful console securely fashioned inside! The console not only looks great it provides just the right convenience for the driver looking to store any loose items. 

Another favorite item of mine is the hip hugger aftermarket console that is included with the sale of this car! Again this one has everything for your enjoyment! 

Finally expect to find a super nice steering wheel inside this pony car along with a great set of aftermarket gauges!  

All of the interior lights are still shining bright & the dash lights are actually functioning!

Placed underneath your feet will be yet more Mustang fabric.... the car has been afforded a new set of pony car floor mats!

All & all the interior of this Mustang is in just of good of shape inside as it is out!

This is truly an incredible car that is ready to be enjoyed!

This car actually takes you back to 1967 each & every time you climb behind the wheel!

Something else that shouldn't be overlooked easily is the trunk of this pony car! This Mustang has a very expensive molded trunk mat that looks fantastic! Many people at the local car shows etc...have made numerous compliments regarding it as well. Two very nice extremely expensive custom sound speaker boxes are tucked away inside also! Looks terrific!  

Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford...... I will talk about yet why a few Chevy guys hate it!

No Mustang change truly be considered a muscle car without having a factory V/8!

The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT factory 302 engine. This crate engine block was ordered from Coast High Performance!  

THIS PONY RUNS STRONG!!!!

The motor is balanced & blueprinted. She has angle valves, erformance pistons & solid lifters!

Although I am not much of gear head ....the simple equation here is "power is on tap if needed"!

LET'S LISTEN!!!

I simply love hitting the throttle of this Mustang as it cruises down the highway. She seems to just hum along without issues for hours at a time! I recently drove the car approx. 120 miles without a hic cup! I found it hard to pry myself out of the seat when it was time to go!

Also added when the motor was installed is an electric fan keeping things cool!

This vintage vehicle has had almost every item under the sun addressed in everyway to ensure hours of fun free operation!

This one leaks no fluids! Thanks in part to new plugs, ires, ap, otor, aterpump, hermostat, askets, eals, uel pump, il sending unit, lternator, attery, oses, elts,starter and just too much more too list!!!

This is one you can actually take the wife out in "after she yells at you for buying it"! If all else fails you have a nice car to sleep in!

Seriously.....If you have been looking for a classic Mustang that you can enjoy with confidence then look no further!

This Mustang actually performs, andles & drives like a low mileage vehicle!

There has been so much general & preventative maintenance performed on this particular Mustang that it would almost be asinine to try to list it all. She is very user friendly!

This car also has many new suspension parts! (Amazing ride & handling)!

She corners better than a Porsche!

The car has fairly new brakes in front with a great set of non asbestos brake shoes in the rear! It also has new wheel cylinders, rake hardware kits, acking plates, oses etc.

There is a nostalgic growl that comes from the Mustang by aid of new 40 series Performance mufflers.

This pony sounds AWESOME!

Helping to bring the sweet note song thorough is a custom chambered dual exhaust system!

Here you have the total package. A classic Ford Mustang that sounds & looks incredible!

To top things off there is a like new set of 17 inch SS Cragar rally wheels (Bull Dog aggressive stance)! This Ole Ford stops traffic! Don't miss out on your chance to own a quality investment! You may find another pony but you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition! This Mustang has been meticulously maintained!!!

There is an old saying you get what you pay for

"In this case you will be getting more"!

The time, ffort & money spent restoring this car can't be properly measured. That being said I have set a very reasonable reserve on it! The car is being at a fraction of what it cost to restore it for!

This car is for the person who doesn't want to necessarily spend the super tall dollar to have fun!

Consider this one a blue chip stock in regards to investment quality!

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better I waited to mention the most important part!

There are too many horror stories being told about guys buying rusty cars! This is something that shouldn't be taken lightly by the new potential owner. RUST REPAIR CAN BE EXPENSIVE! AND FOR THIS REASON YOU MAY EVEN FIND SOME CARS LISTED WITHOUT GOOD PICTURES UNDERNEATH!
