For auction is my 1964 Ford Falcon Sedan Wagon. This is a relist when I didn't meet the reserve price of $1,000 before, o now it's up with NO RESERVE. It is originally a 6-cylinder car, ut it currently has no engine or transmission. It also has no title or keys, o this can be for parts or something to rebuild as a ratrod. I can provide a bill of sale, hich is all that's needed in Alabama, eorgia, nd most states in this area for a car this old.The outside is rusty and has a great patina, ut it does have a few spots of rust rot on the bottom of a couple doors, n the passenger's side fender, ne spot on the dripline of the roof back, nd the driver's side floor pan is rotted. The entire floor pan could probably stand to be replaced as there are smaller holes throughout, ut I took a pic of the driver's side to show the worst one. That said, he frame is SOLID and has no holes at all. This vehicle has been a southern car as far back as I could trace (bought it from a guy who had it 30 years) so it doesn't have salt rust, ust sitting-in-a-field rust.Mileage shown is 96,435, ut that may have rolled over. Now that I've listed the worst parts, ere are the best parts:
- All glass is intact with NO CRACKS. The windshield does have two VERY SMALL rock chips, ut they didn't spread into cracks and are hardly noticeable.
- The interior is in great shape. The headliner deteriorated and pieces fell all over the inside (as you can see in the pics), ut I have vacuumed and cleaned all of that out after taking the pics. But you can see that the back seat and rear wagon pad area are all in really great shape. The front bench seat has some rips, ut considering the age, t's not really that bad. The carpet and dash pad are also shot, ut they're all original. This car could easily be cleaned up a bit with a new motor and floor pans thrown in and make a perfect rat rod.
- This car also has NOT been chopped up like most you find from this era. Heck, ven the radio hole hasn't been modified.
- The tailgate does open, nd the rear window rolls down.
- Aftermarket parts for this car are plentiful, ncluding new floor pans. This was a very popular year for the Falcon, ut wagons are rare these days so this is worth restoring.
The car will need to be towed, ut all tires hold air just fine and it rolls with no problems. I can ship for $1 a loaded mile within 100 miles of Chattanooga, N. Please email with any questions or if you need pictures of any specific area. I'd be happy to help.
