1979 Fiat 124 Spider 2000 Convertible * No Reserve * Pininfarina

You are bidding on a very clean 1979 Fiat Spider 2000. sometimes called a Spider 124. I've taken several pictures but I want to clearly explain what you're getting. This car has a new top (and cables and a few frame bolts). Since the top was just put on it's very tight and clean. According to receipts from the previous owner the engine was rebuilt in 2002 at a cost of $2200 by Harrods Creek Imports. At that time it had 85. 00 miles on it. now it's at around 94. 00. In the short time I've had it. it runs great. Always starts right up. The interior is clean. No tears in the seats. The dash is cracked and could be replaced or covered. There are a couple spots where the paint is bubbling up. I'm assuming it's the start of rust. The trunk is the worst area so I took a closeup of that area. The bottom of the car is clean with no rust. There are a few issues that I'd like to point out - the driver's side door needs to be adjusted to fit right. It closes but not to my liking. A couple of the gauges aren't working. If I have time. I'll check on the cost to repair. Finally this beautiful blue spider will need some new tires. I don't know how old they are but they will need to be replaced fairly soon. If you live within a couple hundred miles of Indianapolis. you could easily drive this home.
