For sale is a gorgeous Pininfarina designed 1978 Fiat 124 Spider.
I am the third owner of this rust free (90%) Italian classic, and it spent much of its life sitting on a lift in Manhattan. The odometer reads just under 28,000 miles, and the condition of the seats, carpet, and pedals will support that.
Starts right up and runs very well. 5 speed manual transmission shifts like it should.
Recent maintenance includes:
-new Gates timing belt
-new master cylinder and brake booster, along with rubber hoses as needed
-Pertronix electronic ignition and new coil
-electronic fuel pump
-new convertible top
-new tires and rims; the ORIGINAL rims and Pirelli tires are included
Of course, it's a 40 year old car, so it could use a few things if you want it to be show quality. It would benefit from a good buffing, and maybe a respray of the left fender; there's some old body work there that doesn't look great. The radio works, but the speakers have seen better days. I prefer the sound of the engine, anyway, but I will be throwing in a new set of speakers when I get a chance.
As is, you can drive it anywhere, and if you wanted it to be perfect, you wouldn't have to do much.
Call or text Sam at six four six-761-5807 with any questions. Asking $8,500, but make me an offer!
