Selling a 1978 Fiat Spider 1800:This car has been my family for most of its life. My grandfather bought it in the early 80's as weekend driver after he retired from practicing medicine. He then gave it to my Uncle who owned it for about 15 years. The car was kept in a carport for that period of time and developed much of the rust it has now. My uncle gave me the car the 5 years ago and I have kept it in heated storage since then. The car was not running when I got it, nd I have not touched it since. I don't have the time or desire to get back on the road or restore it....so it's time to go! This will make a great project for someone who is looking for an unmolested, ll original Fiat. The car only has 59K miles on it! The interior is in very good shape except for two small cracks in the driver seat cushion, hich I took a photo of. The convertible top works but the rear plastic-window is oxidized. The car has rust, ut is not rotted. The worst of the rust is on the trunk lid where the luggage rack was bolted through. Other than that, he rust is mostly at surface-level. The body has some dings here and there, ut it is very straight for the most part. Tires are in new condition, ut probably 10 years old. As far as I know, here is nothing majorly wrong with car mechanically. My uncle didn't drive it in the winter, nd eventually stopped getting it running in the spring. Aside from that neglect, egular maintenance was always performed on the vehicle by professional mechanics. Please note: THE CAR IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING, nd therefore is being SOLD AS for parts or restoration. The winning bidder will need to bring a trailer when picking it up or use a vehicle towing service. The car rolls, nd the tires hold air. I have many photos posted and I hope they will answer most of your questions. CLEAR TITLE.
