The inclusion of additional convenience and luxury features further enhanced the car's drivability. while the familiar front-mounted 4. 4 liter V12 and striking Pininfarina styling ensured that the car retained all of the traditional positive Ferrari traits. According to Ferrari historian Marcel Massini. 13583 was delivered new to official importer SAVAF (Societe Anonyme pour la Vente des Automobiles Ferrari) in Geneva. Switzerland. where it was sold new to a local resident. Importantly. the car was delivered in Verde Bahram paintwork over Black leather upholstery. It is said that Verde Bahram was a special order Ferrari color which only 2 Dinos and 3 Daytonas were outfitted with. so to find a 365 in this color is highly unusual. Amenities include power windows. power steering and air conditioning. It was later repainted. but still resided in Geneva for many years. until it was imported to United States in the 2000s. According to Ferrari Historian Marcel Massini during the late 2000s. the car would receive a full servicing. comprising of an engine rebuild. ANSA exhaust. brakes. shocks. suspension and air conditioning work. along with an exterior paint freshening at an expense of about $60. 00. 00. This high quality work is still reflected in the over condition today. This particular Queen Mother is a very nice high quality driver or casual show example. Painted black over complimenting black leather upholstery; the cabin looks well preserved. showing a comfortable patina with original wood veneer. recently rebuilt Becker Europa radio. working electricals and original etched glass. A spring of 1970 Ferrari Owner's Club Booklet and 365 Handbook reside in the glove compartment. The exterior's finish displays a beautiful and honest consistency throughout without any signs of underlying corrosion. as does the undercarriage. Its numbers-matching powerplant quickly revs to power and the car's overall drivability feels very solid and suitable for continued enjoyment. A recent compression test showed good results of 155-160PSI per cylinder. This offering is further complimented with a properly presented engine bay which shows evidence of much recent service including new correct Baldwin oil filters.
