I believe i bought it around 2015? I purchased it off ebay rust free. Was a pickup bed camper hauler back in its day. Took the box and cab off, sandblasted the frame, repainted it with some napa undercoating stuff. Bedliner in the bed also. New 265/75/16 dick cepeks with custom made $500 wheel spacers. Then i sent it off and had them tear into the engine to replace any leaky gaskets... I opted for every option they made available. Low stall converter, refurb valve vody, deep pan with cooling fins and drain plug, you name it they did it. Believe it or not, its starts really well. I rarely drive it in the winter but i do start it and it does well till you get under 25 degree ish. It will always start when plugged in.Ac and heat work great and always have for meI’ve put about 10k miles on since my ownershipThe badSpeedometer began jumping around last time i drove it.Steering has what feels like dead spots every so often. Bought it that way never got around to fixing it and it didnt really bother me.Rear trailer hitch is bent down and basically hanging by a thread. Dont ask me how. I bought it that way. Havent gotten around to it either. I seldomed pulled a trailer with it and when i did, it was gooseneck.I pulled the factory LE body trim moulds off last month suspecting rust, sure enough. I wire brushed it down too bare metel. Lightly tapped around with hammer and its solid. So it was just surface rust but now looks kinda crappy missing the body moulds.Ive tryed to sand and paint the rockers due to rock chips but the paint began coming off in other spots so i gave up. This truck is 30 years old and original paint so its far from perfect. Buts its a really good old truck and i would drive it Absolutley anywhere. Nothing to hide and tries to show this in pictures. Engine and trans run out great. Doesn’t use oil. It’s been babied and I only drove it on weekends. This truck will sell too the highest bidder. I have some receipts but not all unfortunately.
