1941 Dodge WC12 WWII 1/2 ton 4x4

You are bidding on a 1941 Dodge WC12 4x4 1/2 ton pickup truck build by Dodge for the US Military. This is an original closed cab truck for the military and not a civilian conversion. It has all the correct data plates still in the cab. This truck came out of the Furnace Creek Ranch in California after it was purchased from surplus at the end of the war. The truck has had a sun roof put in it at one time. The engine runs great with good oil pressure. ( I can forward you a video of it running if you want to see it run ) The starter has been replaced with a key and solenoid starter for ease of starting. It also has had power brakes put on the truck. but are soft. I have not had time to mess with them much. I have only driven the truck around my shop. The head was taken off to check things out and the engine looks good with new head gasket kit installed. The engine looks to be a replacement engine from the Government (see picture of engine numbers) and has a date of 44 on the block. The fenders and bed have the typical cracks in them. but in good condition otherwise. Would be an easy restoration. It is missing the passenger side inner front side panel that shields the engine.
