1986 Dodge W-100 Ram Power Wagon short box 4x4 high desert survivor barn find NR

Exterior: Original paint still shines well and looks good enough to draw compliments at the gas station and the Home Depot. Paint is thin on hood and roof and box floor. Very honest truck, nothing is covered up with spray paint, undercoat, or bedliner. What you see is what you get. There are some hail dings, mostly on hood, and they are more noticeable in person than in the photos. Paint chips on tailgate. Exterior chrome is bright and not pitted, there are a few dings on upper body moldings. Straight truck with one crease and an old repair low on passenger side where the original owner ran over a gas station post. This truck has NO RUST, and underside looks great with the original factory paint stampings and stencils still legible on the frame. Interior: All original and in very good condition. No cracks in dash or door panels, and even original carpet is nice. A few tears in seat fabric under the cover, but seat is firm and not broken down. Glass is good including windshield, which has been replaced. No rodent damage or smells. As far as I can tell, absolutely everything works and the A/C blows cold. Nice enough that the wife might commandeer it for her driver.

Mechanical: Starts, runs, and drives out well. Original 318/automatic is strong and smooth. No leaks or smoke. Owned by a couple of fussy people that fixed whatever was needed along the way. Over $5000 in receipts included for everything from brakes and shocks to belts and hoses and new rear main seal. 4wd works great including the light on the dash. 31x10.50 tires have excellent tread and no cracks, and wheels are new. Tight driver with a low mile feel, sorted and ready to go. Great weekend cabin/lake truck for your vacation property.
