Car description |

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T
True R/T that stands for "Road and Track"
440 c.i.d. V8 Magnum
Paint less than 1 year old
Like-new, less than year old Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires
Professionally installed 2-seat caged interior w/ original door panels and new vinyl throughout the rest of it
It's built with a trans brake (floor it and release the button to launch) and brake line lock for burnouts. It tracks straight under full throttle off the line with a lot of traction even without a burnout. Low 12 second 1/4 mile times are easy and it looks great at a car show.
The chassis is partially tubbed for the 10 inch wide tires that show nicely from the rear.
For the dash there are all the pertinent gauges and switches. There's also a main exterior On/Off power switch.
Weight distribution and chassis rigidity are improved with the roll-cage, battery box in trunk, lighter wheels and other 'Pro-Street' mods.
The engine snaps to high-revs with a lot of snarl (it sounds wicked), it drives phenomenally well and with the 3,000 rpm stall converter it's instant power to the wheels when the throttle is stabbed. It's truly great fun to burn gas in this classic hot rod that's been made even faster and more safe to drive.
If you'd like a truly wicked sounding, great looking, easy to drive Road and Track vehicle for the drag-strip, local cruising and car shows, this is it.
