BIDDERS WITH A FEEDBACK SCORE LESS THAN 3 NEED TO CONTACT ME FIRST BEFORE PLACING A BID ON THIS VEHICLE OR THEY WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED.
Up for Auction is a 1937 Dodge pickup that I rescued about 7 years ago from it's resting place inside a local barn where it was stored since the mid 1960's. The previous family owned this truck for close to 60 years and used it on their farm. Clear title in my name.
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
This truck still had its original paint on it when I purchased it. The overall body condition was very good with the exception of the fenders & grille which were dented. This truck was 95% "rust free". It now has very high-end paint very close to the original factory color scheme along with upgraded custom upholstery.
The paint work alone is almost worth what I am asking for this truck
Reproduction body parts as follows: splash aprons, tailgate, running boards. Front bed panel replaced using the top round piece of original panel.
Original engine - sent to machine shop - bored .40 over, crankshaft & camshaft re-ground.Radiator boiled out & re-sealed. New - timing gear & chain set, oil pump, bearings, water pump, fuel pump & internal water jacket tube, hoses, etc. New heater core.
Brakes - new linings, parking brake band lining, rubber lines, new wheel cylinders & master cylinder. Has 5 new tires & 5 new "Weld Racing" wheels .
Replaced all leaf springs with Eaton Springs & gas charged shock absorbers.
Interior - Original upholstery mostly intact when I bought the truck. Interior repainted close to the original "grey" & "black" features. The original headliner was re-used & recovered to match the seat, door & kick panels.
New ignition & door lock sets so this vehicle can be locked up, plus a nice vintage locking gas cap. The vacuum wiper has never been tested - consider it non-working at this time.
Original 6 volt electrical system with anOptima battery. All dash gauges & speedometer work as they should. Horn works. Has reproduction rubber floor matting with jute felt underneath, Lokar shifter & emergency brake boots and new varnished plywood panel under mat.
All new glassas well asnew windshield & rear glass rubberweatherstripping &door glass felts.
Running Condition - driven less than 100 miles since completion a few years ago. Runs cool with good oil pressure.
This truck looks very sharp inside & out. Appears to resemble a street rod truck, but is basically stock. If one wanted to make this truck stock appearing again, find a set of stock wheels & hub caps & you would have one of the best looking stock 1937 Dodge Trucks out there.
Of course, the upholstery is upgraded from the original cardboard interior panels & plain smooth vinyl seat.
PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS - some photos are intentionally shown dark to show the quality of the paint using reflections that bounce off the surface.
$500 due via PayPal within thefirst 24 hours;
Balance due within 7 Calendar days or sooner via BANK WIRE TRANSFER.
It is the buyers responsibility to arrange & obtain any and all transportation necessary for transport. I can store this truck inside for a period of 2 weeks from the end of the sale.
My residence is in a good location for vehicle pick up by any type of transport vehicle.
This vehicle is being sold in "AS - IS" condition without warranty being expressed or implied.
Thank you.
