Car description

This very nicely restored Dart Swinger cuts a sharp looking image with its aggressive stance and correct Hemi Orange paint. It is spotlessly clean and detailed out from top to bottom and end to end. If you have never had the opportunity to check out one of these lightweight cars with the hi-po small block 340, well then here's your chance. Come on down and check out this sweet ride. Dodge did a great job updating the... Darts from the previous generation. A more rectangular look was created with crisp clean lines that would define the cars looks well into the '70s. This one received the attentions of some skilled body and paint specialists that prepped the panels and adjusted them properly before they sprayed it with a single drop of that bold Hemi Orange paint which is also the original color for this car. A performance hood has die-cast louvers announcing the 340 Four Barrel resting underneath it and a Black Bumblebee stripe encircling the back of the car announces it as a Dart Swinger. Up front, the grill is simple with a single headlight on each side and is underlined by a shiny new chrome bumper. Out back, the look is simple and clean with rectangular taillights over another fresh bumper that has a couple oval exhaust tips peeking out from under it. Black steel wheels with polished trim rings compliment the stripe and the chrome nicely. Open the door and you will find a Back interior that is as fresh and spotless as the outside. The door panel starts out smooth at the top underlined by a slash of chrome with a series of vertically embossed horizontal panel sections underneath it. The upholstery on both the front and rear seats has been replaced and looks as tight and right as a brand-new car. A three spoke steering wheel sits in front of a dash with a long rectangular speedometer flanked by factory gauges for fuel and water temp on the left with voltage and oil pressure on the right. There is also a trio of Equus gauges under the center of the dash to keep more accurate track of the oil, water and battery. A shifter for the automatic transmission rises high out of the floor in the center and behind it there is a Pioneer stereo that is AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth and iPod compatible for your listening pleasure. Open the hood and you will find that high performance 340 cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. The chrome air topper announces it as a 340 Four Barrel and feeds the air to an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold. Chrome Moroso valve covers add their splash of flash while an aluminum radiator and electric fan keeps things running cool while looking good too with its polished upper mount. Hoses are protected by brushed metal coverings and the new wiring harness is nicely loomed and protected too. Stock exhaust manifolds lead out through dual free flow mufflers to the chrome exhaust tips at the rear. Power front disc brakes assure that you can haul this car back down from speed if you decide to let the horses run and fresh sway bar bushings help the car handle well. The rubber meets the road through BFGoodrich 225/70R14 tires. Neat, clean, nicely restored and ready to roll. Come on down and check this Swinger out.
