Car description

Make an offer!! As much as I love it I've decided to sacrifice it and a bunch of other of the projects that are aging like fine wine in order to pursue desert off-road racing.
So my awesome rust free 79 Magnum XE has got to go before I could do all things to it I wanted to do to make it nascar-ish.
The Custom wheels and tires shown are not included.
They are not for sale. I'm going to take more photos of it this week and probably have a different set of wheels and tires on it so look out for that. That will probably be a set of wheels that look awesome and are also not for sale. Steel wheels I have are just regular playing passenger tires on plain passenger steel wheels.
The car is pretty much original with the exception of some Lakewood bars underneath and CB Radio and 8-track player in the center console. Everything is very worn but it's pretty cool to see it all in original condition. I personally probably wouldn't restore the car I love how it looks raggedy and old as many in world....the patina as they call it these days. But without a doubt with a very inexpensive paint job requiring absolutely no rust or corrosion repair would look fantastic.

So it was not really in a barn! But there is only 2 2owners on record, 1 family. I purchased it from the daughter of original owner. Her Dad gave ths car. It was titled to her as the 3rd owner. She use the car and actually worked at Firebird Raceway outside of Phoenix and drove it to work most days as her daily driver. Its all Documented. I am technically the third owner, but I have not registerd it to my name. I will if you want it done. It will be technially a 3 owner car then.
It did run with gas in the carb when I got it but there's no spark now I believe the coil may be but Have not had time to mess with it. It will be sold witha set of "roller tires/wheels" for transport.
Rust: There isnt any rust are no rust "bubbles" at the seams under it or under the doors or bottom of the trunk lid. The nuts and bolts are all clean everywhere and break free easily without using lubricating oil. There is no rust on the Rockers, no rust on the quarters or wheel wells or floors.... the patina rust on the top which is all smooth, no bubbles. There are no holes or beginning of anywhere on the outside body or inside the doors truck lid or hood. If you haven't had a car from out here in Arizona it's really hard to believe. Rust Belt people just assume that it must be a scam or the person's lying and there's Bondo in it. But those from out west or who've had an Arizona car understand and this car is probably for you.
International buyers welcome. Someone is going to get a very rare car in relatively great condition for a super price.
Yes you saw it before and I tried a no-reserve auction and the winning bidder starting off that he only had 8 hours to read the listing, so that excused waiting till act after the auction ended to start asking questions, and let me know that because he was 11 hours away that I'd have to wait for him to pick it up at his convenience....how long do i have to pay for it and pick it up? Can i pay patypal? Is it a XE or GT? And is it the distributor thats bad? All answered in the listing title, description, and item details. I certainly am not out to mislead anyone. My opinion this is he super awesome super rare rust-free 40 year old Magnum XE. I'm a relatively cool guy who does relatively cool stuff and the last thing I want is a unhappy owner for the car next. I didn't collect the car because I didn't want it and I'm not selling it because I don't want it and I really would like the next buyer to appreciate what they have found and be excited and happy with their new old magnum. The buyer told me if I couldn't wait for him and do things under his terms then I could cancel the transaction if I wanted. So that transaction was cancelled 2 days after the end.
As the winning bidder it's expected that you contact me, the seller immediately and provide your contact information phone number and begin planning the logistics for the car. ust to not drag it out over weeks I'm going to stipulate that the car must be paid for within 7 days. You must pick it up within 14 days. I may be able to be flexible with the 14 days depending how much is accepted for the car. Along with career paths change I am also relocating and may need to put the car in a storage lot if it cannot be picked up within 14 days.
Feel free to give me a call with any questions. The wheels and tires are not for sale. And I do not have a rough estimate of the value of the set if you would like a set like them or if you have a set like them. Detroitvintagewheels is a service for you to send your wheels in.
