1958 DODGE POWER WAGON P.E. VAN PELT FIRE APPARATUS BUILD UP.This is the last flat fender power wagon open cab built by PE Van Pelt in OAKDALE Ca.It is a very famous truck in the power wagon world and the fire truck world. The truck has been been nut and bolt restored. Being a 1958 PW it has factory synchronized transmission....no gear grinding or double clutching. This makes FFPW's much more desirable and driveable.The axles and plumbing have been powder coated gloss black....it gleams. The detail on the winch is breath taking.....yes this truck has the factory winch set up and it has been detailed to the utmost level..it sits out in the front like a jewel.....The brass work under the truck has been polished and cleared. See the detail in the pics. Berkeley multi fogger pump is functionally beautiful and ready to go into service again. The engine looks like a museum piece and runs like a sewing machine..smooth and reliable.The gold leaf is jaw dropping. Done by the late great Wild Bill Wisslead...it will literally take your breath away. Wheels have chrome trim rings and are powder coated as well...
