Car description |
---|
True factory R/T born with 440/Automatic in the unusual Dark Turquoise Metallic with Factory Air.Was originally a California car with "cleaner air package." It moved to Colorado and hit a deer in the early 1970's, the car was parked with grille / molding damage and has never ran since. The odometer shows 83,133 miles. I believe that to be correct but can not prove it. Title says milage is excess of mechanical limits.
I bought it partially disassembled in 1999. Previous owner had started to change the color to red and make a race car out of it. Fortunately he did not make any modifications and he saved the original parts he took off the car. After buying the car and all the parts, I completed disassembly and the unibody went onto a rotisserie to bead blast the bottom, identify and cut out any rust, then patch panels fabricated and welded in (this was 1999). Each lower rear quarter got a patch panel behind the rear wheels (pictures available). The unibody was primed and painted underneath as well as on top. All restoration work was done on the car between early 1999 to early 2000. Since then, everything has been sitting in the shop most of it boxed up from the move.
Clear NM title. VIN tag has never been removed from car. Build sheet included (found behind the glove box during disassembly). I have misplaced the fender tag and certicard. If found, I will include and/or send to new owner.
