Car description |

1965 Dodge Coronet Convertible. My mother was and is the second owner of this car and she has owned it since approximately 1972 give or take. This car has been in my life since I was born and as I got older I put some love into her. The car is a 20 footer and looks GREAT when you see it driving past. Up close you will see her age but you can't help but love a car with age and wonder all the stories she could tell!
The car has a clear title and runs and drives great. I love driving this car and makes me feel as if I was driving on a cloud! The motor is a 361 BIG BLOCK and is original and numbers matching as far as I know. I store this car in my shop and can't wait to get it out in summer to take it for a cruise. Recently I had a straight pipe exhaust put on the car and it sounds awesome. Would be better with headers but still very nice. New brakes all the way around and a line lock was installed for FUN! Unless its wet pavement she is a one wheel wonder but boy does that line lock do its job. I do have the original master cylinder for the car as well.
The top is white and could be replaced to make this car look sharp. The motor for the top works but the lines and cylinders should be gone through to make it operational. The gas tank was dropped and coated but about 2 years afterwards the gas gauge quit working. I never looked into it, could just be a wire but I do not know.
She has some stone chips and a small dent under the passengers door. All the trim is there and this car is nearly complete if you ask me. Seats have been redone 2 or 3 times, the carpet has been replaced at least once. I have an 8 track hooked up right now. The radio works. The car has about 140,000 miles on it. Tires are good, and I have an extra one or two to throw in if needed I believe. Hub caps are all there. There is some rust on the under carriage. The only major thing that should be done when time allows is the frame where you jack it up or the cross member on both sides should be welded in. It has some good rot on it and eventually will be fixed but I have been driving it as is forever.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will get back to you.
This car is Awesome and turns heads everywhere. Who doesn't love a convertible, a classic one at that!
If I think I forgot anything I will update this ad accordingly. Will hold as long as needed as long as money is paid in full.
Thanks, Kasey
